Training for Leadership Skills

Today’s companies and non-profit organizations are exposed to great pressure of competition for survival and success. Leaders are often highly qualified in their professional knowledge, but leadership skills may be incomplete, as in formal education little emphasis is placed on this. The development of leadership skills should not be narrowed down to gathering experiences: experience is an instructor which first tests then teaches. It is better to train leaders who already have experience without confirmed style yet. For this we propose a 2-3-day training, or if only limited time is available then one and a half day with a joint informal night as part of the program.

Main topics of leadership training:

  • Leadership competences needed in given organization and industry, selecting the ten most important
  • Self-evaluation and feedback to each other in point of some leadership competences
  • Efficiency evaluation: Feedback, support and confrontation in leadership
  • The system of Authority-Responsibility-Power® (ARP), its role in leadership culture
  • Personal feedback on the results of ARP questionnaire
  • Foundations of development plan
  • Collaboration with other leaders

Further possibilities: individual or group coaching
The workshop provides sufficient matter for developing leadership competences. Hereafter the development of personal competences will be assisted by coaching (personal leadership development). With everyone we work along the competences he chose, or on which he got the most important feedbacks from colleagues as fields to be developed. Both personal and group coaching is available. The decision needs some previous orientation and reconciliation.
